It’s back! The 3rd annual “What’s So Cool about Manufacturing” video competition is underway. Connecticut high schools are partnered with local manufacturing companies to create videos that explore all the “cool” things a career in manufacturing offers. See past year’s entries below and be on the look-out to vote for the 2020 videos at the end of April.
Teams – looking for a little inspiration? Take a peak below at a few of our past winners and submissions. All it takes is a little bit of curiosity, collaboration and creativity!

Registration for this year is complete! Each registered team has been paired with a local manufacturing company.
Visit and Research
Spend time at your partner company learning about its products, operations, and staff while exploring all the “cool” things a career in manufacturing offers!
Create a Video
Your 2-3 minute video will be judged on how well it:
1. Conveys “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?”
2. Highlights the company’s products/technologies
3. Shows an understanding of manufacturing careers
4. Expresses creativity
All videos must receive approval from the featured company and should be submitted for their approval no later than May 12, 2020. Final video submissions are due by May 22, 2020.
