Manufacturing is experiencing a renaissance in the United States. But one of the greatest challenges manufacturers' face is the lack of a skilled workforce pipeline. And without that pipeline, the country's manufacturers will be unable to compete in the global economy. Unfortunately, public perceptions are seriously out of step with manufacturing's broad range of interesting and financially rewarding careers. That's where we come in.
Connecticut. Dream It. Do It. is taking the lead in enhancing Connecticut’s future manufacturing workforce pipeline.
Connecticut. Dream It. Do It. is licensed and led by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. as part of the National Association of Manufacturers and The Manufacturing Institute’s nationwide campaign to create a positive image of today’s manufacturing and re-position manufacturing as a viable, cutting edge career.

If you are an educator, we can work with you to run student workshops, arrange site visits or job shadowing, hook you up with our Industry Ambassadors, attend your career expos, and provide professional development. If you are a manufacturer, we need you to support our efforts by hosting student groups, exhibiting at our events, holding an Open House or Facility Tour, providing student job shadow and internship opportunities, or becoming a Dream It.
